Below are answers to some of the most common questions we get about cosmetic dermatology treatments and services from Dr.Pennoyer and her staff. Does Dr. Pennoyer accept new patients?

Yes, we are accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, please contact the office.

What procedures does Dr. Pennoyer specialize in?

Is there a cancellation policy?

Appointments need to be cancelled 1 business day prior to the appointment time. If appointments are not cancelled within 24 hours, there will be a $10 charge for medical visits and $50 charge for missed cosmetic visits.

What forms of payment do you accept in the office?

We accept major credit cards, checks and cash.

Do you offer a billing payment plan?

Payment is expected in full at the time of your service.

What if I have an emergency and need to see Dr. Pennoyer right away?

Please call the office directly for emergencies (860) 243-3020.

What is involved in a new patient consultation?

Dr Pennoyer will evaluate your skin care needs and suggest a custom treatment plan. A full body exam is offered to all new patients to screen for skin cancer and skin disorders.

How long does a new patient consultation last?

A new patient consultation will take approximately 20 minutes. Please request additional time if you think you will want treatment on the same day.

Why does Dr. Pennoyer require a new patient consultation if I already know what I want to have done?

A custom treatment plan tailored for you will be created to give you a full understanding of your skin health and/or beauty needs.

Are the Physician’s Assistants (PAs) able to do Skin Cancer screenings?

Yes, they are qualified to perform this service.

Can the PAs perform minor surgery?

Yes, they are qualified to perform this service.

What types of hair removal procedures do you offer?

We offer Laser Hair Removal and waxing.

Do you have a late policy?

If you arrive for your appointment more than 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.
