Rosacea

Description
Rosacea is a visible reddening of the skin of the face.  It is a chronic skin disorder and it typically appears when a person is in their 30s or 40s. Beginning as a persistent flushing in response to stress or exertion, Rosacea is progressive, with symptoms often worsening over the course of years.

While many people flush and blush, not everyone has Acne Rosacea. Rosacea is the combination of that tendency to flush and blush, with an acne tendency. Usually this acne is different than the regular teenage acne and can come up in response to some ‘triggers’ like spicy food, alcohol, sunlight and even stress.
